DSS | WorldMax DSS Mounting SystemThe D.S.S drum isolation mount - also known as a suspension mounts don't attach to the drum shell - this gives the drum maximum resonance and a longer sustain.
The mount goes in between the lug and the hoop, the tension rods pass through rubber grommets in small ears on the mount which is how it holds the drum. There is enough play to allow the drum to hang naturally and without tension, allowing the most resonance.
These mounts have a universal mounting plate that will accept any tom mounting bracket
