 Phil Wilson although young has given a lifetime of dedication to his craft as a drummer. He took up the drums at the age of ten . Then attended the Sam Newsom Centre under the tutor Ray Fenwick (Spencer Davis Group, Ian Gillan Band). Phil was also studying with drummers Wayne Proctor (King King, Amour. Oli Brown) and Dave Raeburn (Edwin Starr, The Hoax, Craig Gruber).

 At 18, Phil joined Scott Mckeon under the guidance of Paul Crockford, Mark Knopflers’s manager, who was representing Scott, which culminated in Phil being the drummer on his acclaimed album “Trouble”. To promote the album Phil toured extensively in the UK and Europe, sharing performance space with Eric Clapton, BB King, Jonny Winter, George Thorogood, Joss Stone and Joe Bonamassa to name a few, as well as playing The Royal Albert Hall, The Montreal Jazz Festival, Mont Tremblant Festival, Off The Tracks Festival, Cornbury Festival, Glastonbury, The Paradiso, again to many to mention.

 He has been lucky enough to open for some of his musical heroes such as Derek Trucks, Arc Angels and made his first appearance at the Royal Albert Hall opening for Joe Bonamassa.

 His exciting presences, tone and groove behind the drum kit with the band Djune assisted them to support the likes of Ocean Colour Scene, Athlete, British Sea Power, Pigeon Detectives and The Kooks as well as appearances at festivals such as Leicester Summer Sunday.

 Which then lead Phil to work in American with LA based band “Well Hung Heart’ Recording 2 albums (Go Forth and Multiply and Young Enough To Know It All) and touring the Albums across the USA, including iconic venues such as the Viper Rooms and house of Blues. Phil then joined up with Sean Webster upon Sean’s return from Australia as drummer in Sean Webster and The Dead Lines recording and producing the album “See It Through” as well as comprehensive touring in Holland, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Poland and the UK along with numerous festival appearances and TV and radio appearances in Holland and France.

 Phil also produced and played the drums on the Black Circles 2016 released album “Undone” as well as the Infamous Vampires self titled album. Other sessions and people Phil has worked with over the last three years include, Carly Connor, Robbie Mackintosh, Doyle Bramall ii, Jesse Davey, The Hoax, Wilson T King.

 Phil’s drumming is also featured on the multi award winning video game Guitar Hero and the TV show LA Task Force.

 At the beginning of 2016 Phil joined Lawrence Jones, who has won, “young artist of the year 2014 and 2015” Phil has recorded the drums on Lawrence’s forthcoming 2016 Album  and has a very active touring schedule. Notables already this year have been the Lead Belly festival at Carnegie Hall, New York.
