Managing Director Barry Race established BR Distribution in 1988. Barry has over 25 years experience in the music industry and is a keen drummer himself.
Prior to setting up BR Distribution Barry worked as Sales Manager for a musical instrument distributor importing and distributing prestige brands such as: Tama, Ibanez and D'Addario.
As a result Barry is well known and highly respected within the industry in the UK, by both professionals and retailers alike.
BR Distribution Limited specializes in drumming and percussion accessories.
We distribute innovative percussion and drumming accessories including quality handmade snare drums, cymbals, percussion and marching beaters.

BR Distribution Limited is based in Historic County Durham in the North of England, the Land of Prince Bishops. Owning premises, which have been modified to a high standard to accommodate the requirements of a variety of products. Being located in the North East provides us with easy access to retailers in the United Kingdom, including Scotland, Northern and Southern Ireland. We are located within a short distance from Newcastle and Tees Valley Airports as well as the Port of Tyne Authority, making importing and exporting products easy.

We also distribute products, which are manufactured within the United Kingdom. We have retailers in Europe as well as the United Kingdom.
We have a reputation for exceptional customer service. Offering 24 hour delivery on all orders within the UK, Scotland, Northern and Southern Ireland and 36 hour delivery to customers in Europe. We are able to do this by maintaining high levels of stock to meet customer requirements. Our customers are actively encouraged to visit us and take advantage of our studio to try out specialist products to sell in their stores. We have dedicated staff who will select cymbals for those customers who have specific requirement and are unable to visit personally. We offer the smaller specialist dealers a personal service where required. We employ keen and knowledgeable staff who are given the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skill with in-house training and externally accredited qualifications. We constantly strive to improve our processes and procedures by holding team meetings with all departments represented.
Our commitment to our suppliers is to ensure product availability, by maintaining high stock levels. We actively promote all products through the music press, our website and newsletters. We attend Trade Shows and music focused events in the UK and Europe and support retailers who arrange drumming events and clinics. We act as representatives of our suppliers by offering product and support to Endorsees on tour in the UK.
BR Distribution Limited is proud to have all the major retailers in the UK as customers. We send monthly newsletters to all our retailers to keep them informed of product development. BR Distribution Limited does not sell directly to the public; we do however offer a service to the consumer who may not be able to find the product they require locally, by passing their requirements onto a retailer who can meet their needs.
